Why do they do this?

They just can't help themselves...it's just sooo tempting...they must take those pretty little markers to their faces.  This happened at two different times this week,

She said she wanted a "pink mustache!"


Earlier in the week I found Quiny sitting on the table inspecting all the markers and crayons... at his age, I know he wasn't going for the mustache look...but he got some kind of orange drool look:


 Everybody's kids do this....right??
