The "volcano cave". Maybe since the couch is red??? The pillows and blankets all end up in a pile basically for practicing free falling off the couch. It's not the safest idea, I know...and it makes such a mess...but it's like jumping on the bed, were not suppose to do that either, but we do... on occasion. I even have a picture of my mother jumping on the bed on the morning of my wedding! (I have to find that picture sometime and post it.)
Anyway, more fun than the volcano cave, and more fun than jumping on the bed is building forts! I can remember doing it when I was a kid...and my kids would do it everyday if I let them...
Usually the fort is inside, like this one in our living room. Today, however, we had to get some sunshine on us, so the fort was outside with the deck chairs and playhouse:
We were joined by our neighbor friend, Stella...the kids just can't get enough of her!
What fun. Always good for lots of entertainment.
ReplyDeleteThe kid in me still LOOOOVES playing inside of made-up "caves" or tunnels!!
ReplyDeletea.) This looks really fun and we will totally be sending our offspring to Camp Freeman to build forts and b.) I would really love to see the photo of Nonna jumping on the bed the morning of your wedding. So sad I wasn't around those days...
ReplyDeleteSo much love to you all...
