Easter fell late in April this year but was still cold and rainy even though we have had plenty of warm days. Yet it was nothing like last year! Last spring break we spent at a cabin in the mountains and Easter Sunday feel on the last day of our trip. Here is what it looked like hunting for eggs last year:

Every year Easter falls on a different week. Easter is the first Sunday following the first full moon after the Spring Equinox. It is always different, sometimes late in March and sometimes like this year, late in April. Today, they were out the door so fast I barely caught any good shots but here is what it looked like this year:
And that was just the outside part of the day...We woke up early, of course, and found baskets of goodies and eggs galore. Here is what it looked like at 6:15am!!

Last year after we left the cabin, we headed home and when we arrived we discovered the Easter Bunny had come to our house!! Ahh, much better egg hunting than the cold snowy mountains...

ReplyDeleteI still remember my own Easter egg hunting and the days when the Easter Bunny was also hiding chocolate eggs for Pau and Eze to find. What FUN it was and what great memories all of you will have too...
