The Elves arrive

We are very excited because our elves showed up today! Every Christmas our elves, Lolly and Zolly come to our house and make mischief all around at night. They sometimes play tricks on us, but mostly they enjoy themselves with late night snacks. Sometimes they watch tv and other times they hide our stuff. One time they put our shoes all through the living room and dinning room in one long line.  It was quite the sight.  But today, we found them snacking in the boys room, so the kids joined them before I could grab the camera.

Making a Christmas Card

It's the only time of year I actually like to get the mail, because I can't wait to see the Christmas cards of friends and family. So it's time to make our card and I need a really cute photo.  Oh, the sighs.. the ughs.. the "do we have too's"...
I have a plan...red licorice in my pocket... Look at how funny they become.

Sledding

So much snow!! An impromptu sledding adventure in our own backyard. The snow was so deep that it was fun enough to run through the yard, no hill needed.

The hens don't like the snow much but the kids do!! So today, they played with both...the girls cooperated for a little while.
